About Christopher Kulfan

Christopher Kulfan

Born in New York City but raised in Lancaster County, PA, I have always had a hard time keeping the natural and unnatural, the cultivated and manufactured, separate from one another. Two of my recent projects, “Typing on Jetsam” and “The Watchmaker Analogy” series are examples of this inability to sequester those two worlds. Since completing my studies of photography at the New York Institute of Photography, I continue to seek out new methods and techniques for creating a tangible medium for the ideas that are floating around in my head.
